Christchurch’s newest attraction, He Puna Taimoana, boasts five heated pools with beachside views of New Brighton. The new space reflects a great place to unwind and a local project to get behind.
Our signage was architecturally designed to compliment the building and surrounding areas. This included outdoor, salt-proof signage that drew from seaside artwork and illustrations. Site specific manufacturing techniques were used to help combat the long-term sea salt conditions.
Safety window frosting and window graphics were also installed as directional signage, leading the pool users around. All of the signs consisted of laser etched permanent detail, to create a matte surface finish to help enhance visibility.
Māori koru stencils were carved into the main building, and large 3D signage was set up to showcase the building names.
We’re stoked with the end result, and are proud to be part of this new project.
