The Old Boys Collegians Cricket Club is one of the largest and most prestigious cricket clubs in New Zealand. It’s situated in Elmwood Park in the heart of Merivale.
After years of hard work, and the building being severely damaged from the Christchurch earthquakes, the pavilion is the Club’s new home.
The client seeked a clean dimensional sign which suited the style of the building.
The 3D lettering needed to be featured on a wall which raised timber battens. Therefore, to achieve this we created a sign that appears floating off the surface which discrete visible fixings.
The three-dimensional component is enhanced by the shadow it creates, and the clear acrylic background shape is virtually invisible.
This signage will last for years to come and continue to resemble an iconic, long-standing club name into the future of Canterbury cricket.
